On Thursday, April 23, the 7th annual \u201cEl Peri\u00f3dico de Aqu\u00ed\u201d awards ceremony was held in Valencia, recognizing the talent and commitment of various professionals and projects to the Valencian region. The Water Tribunal of the Vega de Valencia was awarded the SPECIAL PRIZE. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

More than 300 attendees filled the Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia last Thursday for the seventh edition of the event, which honored fourteen leading figures from the city\u2019s social, economic, and cultural spheres. Among them, the Valencia Water Tribunal<\/strong>\u2014the world\u2019s oldest judicial institution\u2014was honored with a special award<\/strong> for its educational projects and historical legacy. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

The award was accepted by Jos\u00e9 Espin\u00f3s<\/a>, trustee of the Quart irrigation canal and custodian of the Water Tribunal during this two-year term. <\/p>\n\n
