At present, water is taken from the Azud del Repartiment.

At its entrance to the city, it ran through the area where the Frares and Sol mills used to be, and advanced along Vall de la Ballestera street, crossing Pío XII avenue towards Campanar avenue. After crossing the area around the old Ciudad Sanitaria La Fe and continuing along Joaquín Ballester street, it crosses the Mestalla ditch and enters the Marxalenes neighborhood towards Constitución avenue.

After crossing the district of Torrefiel, now in the open air, it receives contributions from various branches of the Mestalla irrigation ditch on its left bank. It irrigates the Pla de Sant Bernat and the Hort de Sant Miquel and, running parallel to the Palmaret ravine, it enters the municipality of Tavernes Blanques. There, at the Molí dels Canyars, it divides into two main languages: that of Alboraya and that of Almácera.

The Alboraya branch, which starts from the right channel of the tongues, crosses the urban center of Tavernes Blanques and reappears to the east of the town, close to the municipality of Alboraya. In its northern section it is again subdivided into the Gaiato and Miracle branches: the first crosses the Carraixet ravine by means of a siphon in a northerly direction; the second heads towards the sea, to the south of the ravine, towards Alboraya beach.

The Almácera branch also crosses the Carraixet ravine by means of a siphon and irrigates the municipal district of Almàssera, as well as that of Meliana, through various branches. After originating the arms of La Creu and L’Alquerieta, it divides again into the arms of La Plaça and La Cadena. The Plaça branch extends to the sea, irrigating Almàssera and part of the municipality of Alboraya. From the Cadena branch comes the Gardi branch, which in turn leads to the Rollet, Anoneret and Cigala branches. Finally, the Cadena branch connects with the Sant Vicent irrigation channel, which it shares with the Royal Moncada irrigation channel.

["post-2759","acequia","type-acequia","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
